I wonder if Rousey has Lupus. I saw a picture of her with what looked like the characteristic butterfly shaped rash on her face.

What took Nunes so long to get to the top?

Even in the combat sports, people who are better looking get more opportunity. Rousey can be dressed up to be pretty. Nunes looks like she started out as Caitlin and is halfway to Bruce.

this has to be the worst ppv main card ever

Holly Holm ( lost last 2 fights) vs. Germaine de Randamie
Travis Browne ( lost last 2 fights) vs. Derrick Lewis
Jared Cannonier vs. Glover Teixeira ( lost last fight and 3-3 in last 6)
Jim Miller( 4-4 in last 8 fights) vs. Dustin Poirier ( Lost last fight)

who the hell is going to pay for that shite? the ufc on fix with pena vs schevchenko is a much better quality card.

YOU realize that UFC in general is now A joke right????

I don't follow much but when Rousey was getting paid like MILLIONS to get her arse whipped within 60 seconds.. I think the WWE is better entertainment.........

Edmond, Rousey's trainer, is an overrated Armenian. This guy has a painting of him and muhammad Ali on one of the walls in his gym.

All I know for sure is that he's a good Kung fu practictioner. I think he's had a few Muay Thai and boxing matches.

He's not a good enough coach to teach world class athletes

I can't remember how he was able to get her away from Gokor and Judo Gene Lebell.

I guess it's Armenian thing as crazy as that sounds

She was a world class judoka who used that to beat women in mma. Women's mma has caught up to her and the women are more well rounded.

She's the equivalent to Royce Gracie.

It's because she didn't want a striking coach.

She wanted someone to hold the pads and tell her she is great.

Edmond was perfect for that role.

My feeling is that he somehow persuaded her he could teach her striking, and then convinced her she was a good striker.

If she has any plan to continue she has to overhaul things completely. I mean, Edmond has ruined Travis too, who some thought was destined to be the heavyweight champ.

yep, and nobody to push her at that camp. look at the breadth of fighters available to train with at somewhere like ATT. 3-4 champions along with many very very good fighters and great coaches.

even joanna swapped over to them because I am sure she knows that she has to get better with her grappling to continue to dominate and she wasnt able to get the coaching and competition in poland that she can here.

actually I think top to bottom the ufc is in the best shape it has ever been roster wise. outside of heavyweight, every division is stacked with good talent.

Same for Amanda - she knew she needed to leave Brazile.

Ronda seems to like being in a smaller setting than what you find at some of these bigger teams/camps. That might be good if Edmond was really elite.
