Conor took the fight seriously, just didn't have the right strategy. He tries knocking people out in the first because that's what's worked for him so far, but wasn't going to work tonight.

Edgar begged and whined and cried and pleaded anytime, anywhere, any weight. blahblahblahblah

then when the opportunity was there he suddenly got injured three weeks back but never mentioned it until a fight w/ McGregor was an option.

weak sauce.

so basically, he can only do that against midgets, right?

Diaz speaks truth.

don't think this delegitimizes Conor at all. I think it should make him stay away from 170. However, I think he'll continue to be a force at 145 and probably 155 for a long time

He just got his arse handed to him by a 155er who doesn't even have the belt. He better stick to FW

McGregor dominated /outclassed Diaz, his arrogance beat him more than Nate did.

You can't think you can drop your hands at that level and get away with it.

Diaz dropped his hands and talked shite more than conner

He can't keep making that huge weight cut. Well I guess he can. But if MMA transitions into what Rogan wants(fighting at a natural weight), Conor is frickied

Except Edgar sent Dana the MRIs for his torn groin muscle as soon as he got hurt...

A lot of people don't realize that all 3 of Conor's losses are at 155. That's why his arse makes the cut

Conor can fight at 155. His problem is he can only win a fight by KO, and if that doesn't work he's done.

He looks like a Holocaust survivor at his 145 weigh ins. That can't be healthy.

Also, he gassed against Mendes too, Mendes just gassed more

I should really start making bets based on the opposite of whom Peej picks. I could have been a millionaire by now.

Maybe he was gassed and that's why he dropped his hands. I still think he was trying to taunt him and of course, wrong move. Either way, Diaz was able to take the punches, Conor couldn't.

All of the above is true, no way you can expect a guy to move up that fast in weight class and still know how to carry that amount of weight. His training staff should have never let him go through with that fight so soon. Although I'm sure there was a shite load of pressure from UFC just to get a good card. Hopefully it will be a good learning experience for CM and he will come back stronger at a lower weight class.
