Hendo really only weighs about 10-15 pounds less than Fedor and this 40 year old middleweight is challenging for the LHW title. In the other fight it was a bad matchup for Fedor and guy who outweighed him big time and had good submission defense.

To be fair to Woogie, Fedor pretty much had to cheat to beat him.

I see Henderson fighting Gustaffson next, and well.. he's not winning.

There was a lot of power in those shots its like shane carwin it looks like it isn't much but they do a ton of dmg. after reem hit him in the gut once I think he had the air knocked out of him and pretty much went oh shite I don't want to be here.

I can agree with that. I'm not saying all those shots were weak, but once that effective one landed, Brock never recovered. I think it was more don't want to be here than all of those knees were brutal. Or, his stomach is still damaged. Or, a combination. Either way, Reem went for Brocks weakness and it worked.

I mean does anyone think those knees were sufficient to knock out other heavys? Personally, I think most recover. It was either Brock didn't want to be there or his stomach is jacked.

Fedor dominated the HW division. Much like many other dominant reigns (Chuck, Wandy, Gomi) it ended.

That makes sense too, they need to push Gustaffson to the moon, he's a young guy with enough good highlight reel footage to get the casual fan into thinking he has a chance.

Too bad they didn't get Danshoku Dino or even YOSHIHIKO to fight Tim Sylvia tonight.

edit: throw in Mr #7 in that list as well.

I think über reem is going to destroy dos santos.

Why
Overeem got outstruck by werdum. He pretty much throws haymakers and knees, he isn't very technical. Dos Santos is faster and more polished on the feet.

ETA not saying he isn't a dangerous striker, but Dos Santos is better IMO.

Diverticulitis ain't no joke. My uncle got it, had to quit work and been bed ridden. Brock has tried to fight through it twice. You cant take Overeem body blows with that disease. Ain't gonna happen. If Brock had done MMA seven years ago instead of WWE, would have an amazing record and career I believe. The disease ain't no joke... From wrestling standpoint, announcer Jim Ross had same disease and it had led to his bouts of Bells Pausy that has pretty much taken him out of game. Hope Brock can recover and live healthy life.
