Believe it or not there are quite a few teams who have that talent and are talented enough to beat uconn
But from a coaching stand point, its not even close.

I keep asking, but no one answers: What coaching innovation has Geno come up with? What offensive or defensive system has he invented? What does he do different from anyone else?
Anyone?

I would say he does a phenomenal job at pulling the best out of his players and creating a special chemistry. They play as a team, many other top teams have a lot more play like a rec league team with just one on one. Team always plays hard and is well prepared, effort is never an issue any night. As fundamentally sound as a team can be in basketball
But his teams literally are like high functioning robots, not much more you can say. Seldom do they have any off nights. Its not like its some special offense or defense that wins but they execute better in almost every aspect every night. Considering the amount of games they play too its much more impressive.
I think Notre Dame is a phenomenal team and Muffet is an amazing coach. They definitely are as talented as UCONN. They almost beat uconn this year. Difference was UCONN executed and made plays when it counted. Its just been this way for years. UCONN will sometimes stumble and play teams to the wire but will make plays when it counts. Considering the teams they play OOC every year, it makes it pretty impressive. They will schedule anyone and play anytime anywhere
IMO I am not sure UCONN would have that major win streak if they played in the ACC over the past few years. Not that they couldn't it would be a little more difficult obviously. Still I don't think the end results of playing and winning national titles would differ. But the UCONN program of the last 5 years are a little different from years past, even ones that won national titles. Just the level of consistency is at another level.

The talent gap is insane; there are maybe five or six elite players, and probably four of them go to UCONN. No one leaves early, which is why the women's game is such a joke. The Pitt Panthers men's team would beat the women by 30+. We'll never see UCONN play a men's team, even as an exhibition game. I have played with some division one players around campus, and they are not overwhelming, at all. They would have a hard time with my intramural team (and we were a middling team). The UCONN women would beat us, but not by 80+. My HS team would beat many D-1 women's teams.

I think Womens Basketball has a set core of teams with excellent talent, then there is a substantial drop off.
UCONN
Baylor
Lousiville
Notre Dame
MSU
Maryland
Texas
All of those teams have rosters stacked with 5* players and elite talented scattered on rosters. I don't really agree with the aspect of UCONN's players are way better than everyone elses. I think they definitely are some of the best out there but other teams have incredible talents. What they do with that talent and how they mold it is a little different.

Remember their streak of 111 straight wins.
Well they showed a chart, over half of those wins were by more than 40 points...and the average margin of victory was 38 points.
Their 3 top players last year were the 3 top players selected in the WNBA draft.
They have 4 titles in a row and are going to get 5. Why would anyone even watch this sport...apart from it being women's basketball.
The only appeal is that it would be competitive. When that is gone, what's to attract?

Well everyone will have to wait for geno to retire and step down.
UCONN will never see that type of consistency again once he retires.
What he has done is very unrealistic almost like a video game.
WBB isn't that fun to watch but the lack of competitiveness because of their domination kinda ruins it for a lot of people.

I just hope we keep it within single digits tomorrow night. I do feel better about this game with UConn than I gave any other of our past games with them

Yall need Durr and hines allen to both shoot like bats out of hell for it to happen. When I say that, they both need to provide at least 50-60 points between the two of them to have a chance.
I don't see Lousiville winnin tomorrow but if yall shoot well and frustrate UCONN early it definitely can happen. Plus what happens if UCONN somehow is cold for most the night and yall are hot? Stuff like that does happen.
And it definitely doesn't help that its at UCONN. What works in yalls favor is UCONN is pretty beat up. They have three starters that have injuries at the moment

Not to the same level, but this does happen. I remember a Pitino coached UK team beat Tennessee in the SEC tourney 101-40.
Was that 1993 in Lexington? We were at that tourney and I think it got to 25-0 before Tennessee scored.

I still don't see how they lost in the final four last year.......

First time I had seen UCONN out worked in years, MSU out hustled and looked like they wanted it more. Shots didn't fall for them, MSU found ways to make shots. Its pretty remarkable they made a final four after those losses from the year before.
Reality is what they have done is not realistic
