Honestly, if this tournament had existed without UConn and ND, it would have been very wide open...probably as many as 10-12 teams were very close together and any of them could have won it.

Of the last 15 games (Sweet 16 to NC), only 4 of them were single digit games. The rest were decided by 15 points or more.

The most shocking thing about WBB is that a 16-seed has beaten a 1-seed.

Geno is 9-0 in championship games, including four wins over Summitt in championship games. He trails only the legendary John Wooden who was 10-0 in championship games

Brought to you by an insane lack of parity in chick hoops.

Is it different than UCLA's run?

Stupid NCAA tournament proves once again it's a lousy way to determine who the best team is.

You're right. Hell, look at the championship game.

So many people thought this would be a good game. Two unbeatens or not, I KNEW this would be a blowout.

not going to lie back in like 2009 I made some serious money betting on the UCONN Women in the tourny. The lines were like taking easy money.

What I hate about women's basketball is the lack of parity.

It seems like the higher seeds always advance. After you get past the top 20 teams or so, the talent gap drops WAY off.

It's too predictable.

One of many reasons why Warren Buffett wasn't offering $1 billion for a perfect women's bracket

it makes me wonder if mens CBB sucked back then when UCLA was racking up championships as much as WBB sucks right now.

It's funny that there was a multiple page thread about how the men's tourney was bad because a 7 played an 8. To me, that means it was great because of parity.

If the guys who hate the tourney had their way in all sports, it would always be boring, like NCAA women's hoops.

WBB regular season is the most meaningful because it gives us a predictable outcome. Screw that parity silliness.
