Whole bunch of saltiness going on in that twitter thread and this thread

Boohoo I hate him so much.

They really shouldn’t use so much salt. Detrimental to their health.
Most are the same people who bitch about the warriors, and also hate their biggest threat. You can’t have it both ways

So you enjoy that style of basketball?

Yeah we can. We can pull for Toyota Center infrastructure failure during the Western Conference Finals

I enjoy watching great players win games. The fact that people get mad about it makes me smile a little bit, because every NBA team would gladly take James Harden on their roster, flopping or not

I hate the Warriors but they play nothing like that. Biggest complaint there is moving screens but I don’t recalls Steph, Klay, nor KD looking for fouls first when attempting a play.
Not saying Harden always does that but there’s many times you can tell easily the aim is to draw a foul only at his attempt.

Harden is great at what he does. He is a gimick player, that has mastered his craft. I have never seen anyone in history of the nba that can find ways to jump into people to foul him rather than actually try and make an easy shot. He has found his niche in the nba, and has made a living at it.

That twitter user and people in this thread.
You asked if I enjoyed watching that kind of play, Insinuating there’s a negative to Hardens play that is going to earn him an MVP award.
Wasn’t there a thread on here a few weeks ago that showed that without FTs he’d still lead the NBA in scoring?

It's easy to be salty when you watch this shite man. Even if I was a rockets fan I wouldn't like it. IMO its basically cheating

He’s a great scorer. Better version of Ginobli. But when he’s out there trying to draw bogus fouls it’s just bad basketball. And so far he runs in to walls at some point during each playoff he’s been apart of that those calls go away. And when that happens, so do his teams’ chances.
I find it funny many Rockets fans are so insecure about this.
Let me give you a similar example: I’m a Braves fan. Love my guys Maddux, Glavine, and Smoltz. Guess what: they got some absurd calls to go their way on outside strikes. And you know what? I believe that many times they wouldn’t get those calls in the playoffs hence 14 division titles and only 1 ring. Really not that hard to admit really.

Comparing Rockets teams of the past to this one is silly.
There’s no doubt that James has a unique way of doing things, but that doesn’t make him any less of a great, potentially MVP basketball player.
If they manage to win a title, he could run around in a skirt for all I care

Ok now go ahead and admit that harden is better than Russ if you are the kinda guy who is so open about your guys.

Um, I’d say there’s a “few” athletes that were never able to break through.
