Very cool how half of Tulane’s last minute drive to force OT was spent covering Aaron Judge getting walked on 4 pitches

but going on defense first in OT is absolutely iron clad.

It’s funny that some people think this makes a huge difference lol

Does Fritz get any P5 looks if Tulane keeps winning?

I know he’s a bit old (62), but Brian Kelly is 60. Saban was late 50s when he was hired at Alabama. Fritz looks young and fit.

Tulane had a bad year in 2021, but otherwise Fritz has been solid his whole career.

We are so lucky have Fritz at Tulane. This was such a “same old Tulane” game they lose - huge win after awful loss last week. I personally think he’s too old to go turnaround a bottom feeder P5 school but I could be wrong. Hope he stays. Roll Wave

Age is obviously a big factor

And in today’s college football most of those programs aren’t going to have the patience for a 3-4 year Fritz style rebuild

Wut? It takes all the second-guessing out of play calling.

If you get a stop, you can be very conservative and set up a short FG.

If you give up 3, you’re kicking on 4th and 3+

If you give up a TD, you have 4 downs.
