for now yeah. the only teams outside the SEC that have the capabilities to compete with the top of the SEC are all down right now (USC, UT), or underachievers (OU, FSU)

I do think OSU with Meyer will be competing in the near future with the team he's building up there.

I think any team with a high-powered passing attack could keep their team in the game.

Clemson would be a decent choice.

Bama had 2 close games if you call them that(LSU and UGA in SECCG) and one loss(aTm). If you think Oregon or anyone else had a better chance wake me up. Oregon's QB ain't no Johnny M.
