Aikman has a point.
The game is so skewed toward the passing game these days, it isn’t remotely fair to compare QBs now to even 10 years ago.
Mahomes is great, but it’s scary to think what an in his prime Marino or Fouts could do under these rules.

to be fair, Troy has suffered a lot of head trauma and is the most overrated qb in the history of the NFL.
BS
Namath is the most overrated QB, hell most overrated player in NFL history.
Look at him numbers, even for his era they were pedestrian at best.
He’s only thought of the way he is because he won one super bowl playing in NY. Otherwise he’d be an afterthought.

And he's still a fricking legend.

Troy is such a bitter bitch. Steve Young vastly superior. And someone I actually enjoy listening to.

But most people have this view so I’m not sure he’s the most overrated. The most overrated would be someone that everyone thinks is good but isn’t really.

Face it, if Troy didn't respond your types would be calling him a cuck.
Wrong.
It's a solid come back, I just don't think the original tweet was sent as an insult, so it cracks me up that he immediately took it there.

Namath averaged 14 yards per completion in his career, same as Johnny Unitas. Steve Young and Joe Montana averaged 12.
I like Mahoomes too. But he averages just 9 yards per completion so far in his NFL career. Especially considering rules differences and schemes in the game now vs the past, it may be too early to anoint Pat as an all timer. It’s equally obtuse and shortsighted to label Namath as worst ever.
