Clemson will have someone that's already had it taking care of him. He won't be mingling with any at risk folks.

People should be smart enough to do these things on their own. I'm in my 60's, have Lupus, and have complications from past bouts of Pneumonia. I'm not getting out. I do curbside pickup at Walmart and a couple of restaurants, and order everything else online. I've also been to a few doctors appointments, but I'm cutting my own hair. Staying away from other people that say they are staying away from people too because I don't trust anyone.

Your situation hit really close to home for me. My wife is 41 & has Lupus as well. She was lucky enough to have a job that she started working from home back in March. My step daughter & I made all the runs outside of the house. We took extreme cautions while out in public to prevent bringing covid back home to my wife. We went months & did very well.

Then at the end of July, my wife's best friend's father passed away from kidney failure. My wife's family & her friend's family are really close. My gut told me to tell my wife the risk of attending the funeral wasn't worth it but at the same time, how could I possibly tell her not to attend the funeral of someone she was so close to?

She attended the funeral & few days later my 14 year old daughter started showing symptoms of covid. A few days after that, both my wife & step daughter started having symptoms. A week later my wife was in the hospital fighting for life. When she was admitted, she texted me where she had all her life insurance info at. She didn't think she would make it herself & if not for Remdesivir treatments, she probably wouldn't have. Thank God she did but she still has complications from her bout with covid even months later.

You are doing the right thing & I can respect your thoughts on the matter. Continue to stay safe & I wish you all the best.

Is cancer fake to you? What about heart disease? Maybe it isn't so serious to you, and that's fine. People are, in fact, dying from this. So stop being a prick.

Theres nothing you can do. Some people just dont care about other people, just how they are inconvenienced.

Interesting. How do you reconcile this stance with then tens of millions of people that have lost their jobs over this? The tens of thousands of businesses that have closed? The significant increases in suicide and drug abuse? The cancer patients that were not allowed treatments because they were not deemed essential?

Would Clemson have to hope for a postponement?

Guys this is serious. Trevor definitely needs our thoughts and prayers. He is fighting an illness that apparently has given him no symptoms! Get well soon!

He’s symptomatic and ACC doesn’t have the Saban clause in place. There are no retests for false positives.

Yes, lets punish someone for our mistake in calling something a "positive", when indeed it was a "negative" all along.

PFT link - eh

quote:

“Trevor has authorized us this evening to announce that he has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now in isolation,” Swinney said in a statement. “He is doing well with mild symptoms but will not be available for this week’s game against Boston College. While we certainly will miss Trevor, this is an opportunity for other guys to step up and we’re excited about competing against a very good BC team on Saturday. Go Tigers.”

So he has at least some symptoms, but supposedly mild. But looks like he's out for 21 days.

The tens of millions in the Third World who are starving because of the draconian shutdowns in nations where people are living hand-to-mouth.
