Guy was in a full run charging toward a 1 on 1 with a smaller cornerback standing at the goal line when a TD would win the game. Instead he prances out at the five yard line then they turn it over on downs from there to lose. Not a lot of heart on that guy.

People are going to say "but he wanted to stop the clock!" The clock also stops if you score to take the lead. Worst case you're down at the 1 yard line, spike the ball, and still have three throws to the end zone from the 1. It's not like his offense has shown an amazing ability to score.

When everyone has sucked your dick even when you play bad since you were in HS you generally aren’t gonna be a very tough guy

Taking bets he's the next QB to jump back in fear if he fumbles the ball in the biggest game of his life----ALA Cam Newton.

Remember when people thought this guy was better than Burrow in college just because he beat Bama worse.

Why would you want your #1 overall pick putting his shoulder down and exposing his entire body to a huge hit in a meaningless game?

This isn't like Cam in the Super Bowl.

Why do you think that he went to hide out in the ACC? Soft as it gets.

I never really saw any kind of greatness in him but, he’s seems like a nice enough fella, not sure what all the bitterness is about toward him

I wouldn't be surprised, but I also don't know he will ever get in a game big enough for it to matter

His dad and my dad worked together while he was being recruited and would occasionally share about the recruiting experience, Trevor didn't want to play for Saban because it was to rigid. His dad also said when Harbaugh called him, he was the weirdest mfer he's ever spoke to on the phone.

Those both seem like very reasonable opinions.

Eh, that was the Super Bowl and this Tlaw was for absolutely nothing on the line.

I disagree here, judging a guy for saving his body when there’s nothing to win is completely different situation especially a Qb.

I live here and watch every Jags game. TL is soft or at least acts soft. Even my teenage daughter has noticed it. She just asks are the Bengals on tv every weekend.
I am waiting for the day TL acts like he is pissed on the field. The talent is there.

Trevor Lawrence was predestined to be the #1 pick in the NFL Draft because of that one game he had against Alabama in the national championship. In truth, a lot of those throws that night were fifty-fifty balls that his taller and more athletic receivers were able to bring down.

Now Lawrence may eventually develop into the QB scouts thought he was but I am always skeptical when these Draft experts call a player a "sure thing."

I said it 4 weeks in and I’ll say it again. Most overrated QB ever. Dude has all the talent, but he doesn’t want it like the greats. He just goes through the motions most of the time, and he’s soft.

I agree, he only regressed in college after his freshman year and seemed like he was going through the motions. I don't see him staying a starter for any team in 3 years or less.
