Travis Hunter is an overrated player.

It is VERY IMPRESSIVE that he is able to play both ways in modern CFB. But, he’s not insanely good at either side of the ball. He’s not going to play both ways in the NFL, so teams are going to choose between a good corner or an okay WR. Is that worth a #1 pick?
This feels like it’s about to be a gimmick Heisman as well. Ashton Jeanty deserves it.
ETA: I originally said he is the most overrated player I’ve seen. That is far from correct.
I’m not saying he’s an “okay” receiver in college. I’m saying I don’t see him being the next Larry Fitzgerald or the next Darrell Revis. I think he will be decent at either position in the NFL. But is that a #1 pick when you don’t get the benefit of him both ways?

I’m not an idiot. I just think that Travis Hunter is overrated. The fact that my opinion draws such an extreme opinion from his fanboys kinda proves my point

You’re a moron with ZERO credibilty. … on any given play (offense or defense) he can change the game. Dude steps up when it matters most. Without Hunter, Colorado is 5-5 at best.
Jeanty has had a very solid year and a deserving candidate. Problem is, Boise has not played in a nationally televised game during prime time. I’ve only seen his highlights on ESPN
