If you believe Cuban, Kobe to Dallas was almost completed in 2007. And Dallas wouldn't have had to give up Dirk either. That was back when Kobe was not happy with the Lakers.

Barkley was almost traded to the Lakers while with the Sixers (saw this in the Barkley at 50 special).

That wasn't long before Philly traded him to the Suns.

The Lakers were going to send Worthy and Elden Campbell to Philly for Barkley

Then he almost went to the Bulls that same year because of the whole Andrew Bynum thing

Pau Gasol to the Rockets (really CP3 to LA).

Dwight Howard to the Rockets.

Tiger Woods to Reebok.

I'm sure both OKC and Houston are happy about this one.

Could you imagine Kobe and Rose?

Well, depends on when the trade would've happened, but yea Rose and Kobe would be killer.

Kobe and Dirk would've been interesting as well. Two guys that have arguably two of the most unguardable and best jumpshots of all time.

I doubt a Kobe led bulls team would go 33-49 in 2007-2008 in order to get the 1st pick in the lottery. But we can dream can we lol

Kobe wouldn't play well with a dominant pg IMHO

Kobe has to have the ball in his hands too much. CP3 or rose would make Kobe a catch and shoot player which is not his strength.

That is why he was so good in the triangle, PG are unnecessary

The Pirates traded Johnny Ray to the Giants for Jack Clark. Bowie Kuhn vetoed the trade.

Patriots tried to get Randy Moss a year earlier than they did at the trade deadline.

I agree, Kobe in the triangle offense was almost a simple PG in the regard that everything ran through him.

But the explosiveness that those two would bring to the court at the same time would be incredible. A spot up 3 point shooter in a Kobe and Rose offense would excel. If he ever got the ball.

Tyson chandler to OKC but failed the physical. Back when chandler was NEVER healthy

I personally know the surgeon that examined his toe and failed him.

Not all that crazy to consider the possibilty that OKC might have won 1 if not 2 championships if the trade had gone through. Sucks.
