BillJ, I counter your point and you have no real response, your sarcasm proves it.

Don't blame you. Especially as much as they have done for education.

Born and raised in Louisiana. I went to and graduated from Rice. When Rice plays LSU, I pull for Rice, of course. Other than that, I pull for LSU because that's what I did growing up. I do abstain from using such phrases as "my team" or "us" or "we".

I never said I don't respect the program I just have no reason to openly root for them much less cheer for them over my school. You still haven't given a valid reason other than being a bandwagon bitch

chill dude, it's friday, no reason to go postal. OUR team, and I do say our team, as in LSU plays the most storied basketball program in the game tomorrow and has a legit shot to win.

I'm just trying to make explain why others might not hate UNC because we play them tomorrow.

I'm pullling for LSU tomorrow, if I haven't pointed that out numerous times.....

I've been a Duke basketball fan since I was in Jr. High. That said, I was behind the Tigers 100 % in the sweet 16 game.

Yesterday, they posted the 5 programs with the most wins in Tournament history.

They were Kentucky, UCLA, UNC, Duke, and Kansas. I would give UCLA the nod over Kentucky though because of their stretch with Wooden.

What's up with all of the Duke fans this morning? Not that I am complaining Assuming it's because of the Roy Williams/Lester Earl relationship.

I did my graduate work at Delta State in Mississippi. Small school, 4500 people, great D2 program in all sports so I cheer for them as hard as I do for LSU and harder than I do for Southeastern, grew up in Hammond, but cheering for Delta will never ever conflict with LSU because of the whole D2 thing.

Cheer for who ever the hell you want. Someone who tries to tell you what teams you are allowed to cheer for is a total DoucheBag.

I think I would somewhat understand (not much) bandwagoning onto a school like UNC if you went to a small school with no athletic program...But LSU was in the Final Four 3 years ago, and has one of the top all-around athletic programs in the country. There's really no justification for rooting for anybody else when you have all you need here.
