I had a friend at the time who was a Texas fan and he gave me so much shite over Tebow crying. Then his boy straight up quit. That game processed his fandom and he hasn't been the same since.

BTW, I married into a family of Longhorns. Saw plenty of Colt. Watch highlights of McCoy's senior year game against the Aggies and the pounding he took. Kid didn't know meaning of the word quit. Toughest college QB I've ever seen.

Don't know that he was faking but I remembered being very surprised that he couldn't come back to play. The hit looked like a run of the mill hit. Nothing you wouldn't see walking through the quad on any given day.

I pretty sure I remember McCoy being interviewed after the game and him saying he had no sensation in his entire arm for like 15 or 20 minutes after the injury. He worked with the trainers to try to go in for the start of the second half, but had minimal strength/grip, so they ruled him out.
