Do you really find it curious that he "singled out" Chicago, the place that it actually happened and didn't single out another American city where something of this magnitude has never happened?

Bartman was an a-hole and should've kept his hands away.

Dusty would've fricked it up in the world series anyway.

I get the Penn reference from Colors but not the Caan part of it.

GoldenNugget should be ignored. He's probably the dumbest poster on this board. He doesn't know what the hell hes talking about because he spends all of his time making really shitty spreadsheets for college football gambling and losing his arse making shitty picks based on those shitty spreadsheets.

a fan-related incident potentially cost them a chance to advance

This was always the problem with the whole narrative. If Alex Gonzalez fields a routine double play, no one knows who Bartman is.

And in defense of Cubs fans, most of them get that now. They're not still screaming about him like Red Sox fans did with Bucky Dent.

People in general from Chicago are trash, also might be the most racist city I've visited.

I just do not buy that Chicago is the only city in the US where this would happen? But if you have an issue with Chicago feel free to carry one with the agenda

False narrative. This does not describe Chicago.

can you name an example where a similar incident happened in another city and the fans were decent?
Straw man. What matters is that it did happen in Chicago. We can't forgive them because of what might not have happened in another city.

The documentary that ESPN did on this incident is outstanding.

Bartman is the textbook definition of a scapegoat. The Cubs bullpen blew that series.

It's the only real comparable incident in sports. The people of Boston harassed him until they won their World Series.

The whole Bartman backlash has chilled. The guy was his own worst critic as it was.
