just falling down.

The rule clearly states that stretching the ball is a 'football move' since that act is disputable and everyone agrees to that. The ruling on the field stands as called. Very simple

He was clearly falling down, bro.

switching hands?
He didn't switch hands?
You lost me here.

Um...

You have no way of knowing that, and I actually find it unlikely. It would have been easier for his to just cradle the ball into his body as he came down. What he did required an active effort on his part.
Regardless, no way that is enough to overturn the call.

This isn't hard to understand.

What about switching your ball hand and the stretch?
Where does it say switching hands is a football move? And he never stretched.

Uh if you watch the play you can clearly see him falling the entire time.

Dallas Fan votes shouldn't count.
In my book one persons opinion matters Mike Pereira who said it wasn't a catch.

Doesn't matter if he was making an active effort to stretch the ball.

No shite. Yes he was falling down that is why the rule of football move applies. The question of if he made a football move comes to question. He can let the ball hit the ground IF he makes a football move. Its debatable. If it were not this thread wouldn't exist. So ruling on field stands.

The fanboys and contrarians are going to see what they want to see, despite clear evidence. I mean there are people saying the ball never touched the ground for a Christ's sake, there's no convincing someone like that

Again, irrelevant. A football move isn't invalidated because you are falling. This has been shown time and again in other similar calls.

Yep, some people just will not see it though.

That wasn't clearly happening.

Is stretching while falling down considered a "football move?" If not then no catch. If so then it was not evidence to OVERTURN it.
Posted on 1/11/15 at 3:58 pm to shel311
He caught the ball with two hands and then cradled the ball in his left. Are you implying he had the ball in his right hand and transferred it into his left?
And the dive you keep alluding to didnt happen. He was falling down.
