"All-American" C has 4 points in the 1st half against Southern and they were throwing the ball inside to go at him. CROWN HIS arse

He no showed for a half against a 16 seed but sure dominant performance.

You know what would make you sound really intelligent? Pick a player that is a Player of the Year candidate and claim that you are not fooled like all of the others who cover college basketball. Say you know he is actually not that good and wait until he has a bad game(something to the tune of 21 pts and 10 rebs) and use that to strengthen your case of how overrated he is.

Everybody will think you are a college basektball expert.

As I said yesterday, praise be the West Coast Conference schedule.

Oh how did I miss that gem of basketball insight? Having not seen that astute observation, I was under the impression that the level of play was already factored in and perhaps out of conference play was included too.

20 points against K-State

22 against Baylor

21 and 9 at Oklahoma State

31 against St. Mary's

This is all from a player who only averages 26 minutes a game, and is in the top ten in the country in offensive efficiency.

Keep trying.

Yeh, I think even Saintsfan agrees he is a decent regular season player. But he only had 21 and 10 in the high-pressure tournament game. Clearly can't play in high pressure situations.

8 against Oklahoma
14 against Davidson
14 against Butler

It's funny that ya'll are still going on today trying to defend a near miss against Southern. Everybody saw it ya'll don't have to keep defending it, there are other games on. :beatdeadhorse:

Gonzaga 72 Oklahoma 47
Gonzaga 81 Davidson 67

Those two games were early in the season in blowout wins. Olynyk was also playing limited minutes after being suspended for the first three games.

This is an argument about Kelly Olynyk is it not? This has nothing to do with Elias Harris no-showing against Southern yesterday. That was the big factor in the closeness of yesterday's game.
