Nobody is sappy but the whole situation is kinda fricked up. It's not really funny that someones ignorance killed a dog.

So the dude just buried the dog around the vet school or something? Who found it and how did they find it?

That sucks for the poor dog, and the handful of Tech fans.

I've never owned a bulldog and don't plan on ever having one. They're kinda pussies. It's 110 today and my lab and the heeler mix are chilling in the shade. I put ice cubes in their water dish and they go swim in the creek to cool down.

I bet Tech XX was put out in a fenced run with no trees for shade or water to hydrate. Not cool to be irresponsible to things that depend on you for survival.

I made plenty of jokes earlier in the thread when A&M was accused, but this is pretty sad. As a fan of another team with a dog mascot I know I would be pissed too.

I just have one serious question: How have y'all gone through 20 bulldogs since the 1960's?

If that isn't accurate please correct it.

Bulldogs don't have long lifespans. UGA has gone through quite a few

Started in 1956 and we are about to introduce Uga IX. The past two Ugas have been unfortunate cases but only those who are ignorant believe that's the norm. Sonny Seiler and co have one more shot to show they can continue to responsibly breed these dogs and I doubt they have issue this time.

ETA: not to direct this at you, just saying it from what I usually hear
