Wrong, theyve been doing that since 2000, when they were still Port Sulphur.

In 2001, they beat two teams in district by 80 points, then lost to Oak Grove in the final.

It's going to get interesting when they reset the districts and S. plaq. goes up against John Curtis every year.

If CLA didn't suck so badly and hadn't given up they might have keep it within 30 pts. That last "onside" kick went almost 20 yards and they still didn't get it.

Well, FWIW, it was pretty humorous that a 7th grade offense was able to move the ball on CLA's first string defense

Oh I am well aware of Port Sulpher and Crutchfield. Also - did they have a rematch with Oak Grove a few years later. I want to say they lost one then won one - or maybe PS beat Haynesville one year in the dome.
