I think they made some of those rivalries up.

28. Arkansas vs LSU
59 Total Meetings – LSU Leads the Series 37-20
They must have gotten the record on this one from Arkansas......

Checked the Auburn stat. They really haven't won at LSU since 1999. That's crazy. LSU is also 6-1 over our last 7 games against them.

Historically really looks pretty accurate. I might put Army-Navy just behind tOSU and Mich.

List is full of crap....no mention of USL vs LSU. Right, Cajun fan?

Kansas vs. Missouri at no. 18???
Could there be a more meaningless game, not only today but in prior decades?

Although Army vs Navy is the #1 rivalry game for me I think it should be moved back towards #10.
Let's be honest the game has had zero significance on the landscape on college football since 60's. it's more of a feel good game that gives college football fans a game that tugs at their sense of patriotism and national pride.
Any game that has to pushed back a week to stay on TV b/c it can't compete with the Conference Championships games shouldn't be in the discussion as the top rivalry game.
Just one man's opinion who has participated in this rivalry.

If you truly are class of '96, you actually remember when Army could win a game.

From what I have read and looked back on. The OSU-Mich game was a huge game back in the 70's and 80's. Now it doesn't seem as important the last 15 years. I know they had A #1 vs. #2 battle but it wasn't like some of the games from way back when. 42-39 seems exciting to most but not what made this rivalry special.Imo a rivalry has something special every year. The FSU-Miami games since the 80's have been very big games until the last 7-8 years.

Mich St-Penn St. is not a rivalry at all. They played each other the last game of the year for a few years for some contrived trophy but that's it. Literally not a rivalry.

Top 50? Holy shite...
Might as well have been titled "List of all college football rivalries"

2006 - #1 Ohio State vs. #2 Michigan

Yes never had to go back to the barracks after losing to the squids.
I have been wondering if you were class of '74?

There's nothing like an in-state rivalry. Border wars almost there. Do Notre dame fans even come across a So Cal fan throughout the year to talk smack? Where's the fun in it?
