1. Durant
2. Kawhi
3. Giannis
4. Doncic
5. Jokic
6. Embiid
7. Anthony Davis
8. LeBron
9. Curry
10. Harden
11. Lillard
12. Mitchell

Durant was the best player in the league before the injury that final year in Golden State and has picked up where he left off. Giannis is unreal but the lack of shooting will prevent him from ever truly being the best in the game. I still leave LeBron on the top 12 list given the ankle injury, but I think his time as being the best player on a realistic contender is over as age 37 approaches. He’s probably realistically more of a top 12-15 level player this time next season.

It's time to drop Jim from the top 10

I would take Mitchell and Lillard over Harden…. Not even close.

What has Kawhi done to earn #2?

We can debate the order all day, but those are the correct 12 names, IMO

Meh. I think all belong besides Mitchell. Kyrie would be ahead of him. I’m sure a few others as well.

Curry way too low at #9. He’s absolutely top 5.

That’s not a bad list but there is no way even a healthy Lebron is #2 at this point.

That's a pretty good top 12. Id rank them differently and have Zion in there over Mitchell. But nice grouping

Only player I'm taking over a fully healthy LeBron at this point is Durant.

I think he has 1 more truly elite season in him. Ankle injury basically wrecked his year.

You don’t typically see aging stars have rebound seasons in their late 30’s.

Kobe and Wade both retired at 37.

Did you forget what James did with that roster by himself for a large part of this season?
