The "Just got his bell rung" era was brutal
And yet we see the persistent longing on this board for that era. It's "pussy" ball if we don't absolutely maximize the skull crushings of young men.

Hard to believe Seattle gave up the 2nd overall pick in the 77 draft to Dallas for a bunch of nobody's

There is a fine line from playing with a concussion (which they did) to perfectly tackling the QB a second after the ball is released and getting a roughing the passer penalty.

Lucky.

He was a jackass when I met him, but won’t hold it against him.

We had a thread on here just last week whining about the fact that vicious blindside blocks aren't legal anymore.

I met him at one in Houston probably 10 years ago or so…. Super nice guy… was heartbreaking to watch that today… very noticeable cognitive decline…

His wife is from Lake Charles and a super nice lady.

She also had an LSU banner in her front yard of their house in Frisco.

I didn't know Dorsett's wife was from Lake Charles. I believe one of Muhammad Ali's wives was also from Lake Charles.

What a great running back Tony was. In college at Pittsburgh he once gained 303 yards rushing against NotreDame.

I grew up loving the Landry Staubach Dorsett Cowboys. It broke my heart the first time I saw him being interviewed right before he was diagnosed with CTE, because I saw it and immediately said, “oh man…he’s got it”
