I notice you didn’t mention hockey? Are you conceding the fact that those guys are tougher?

Baseball plays 162, but you think that’s made up for because they don’t run as much? They also don’t have days off where they aren’t traveling. They clock in every day. They aren’t all playing in air conditioned arenas either. I’m not saying baseball is more physical, I’m saying the lifestyle is tougher.

Lastly, maybe NBA is taxing. That doesn’t eliminate the fact that these guys get top notch treatment, massages on the reg, and are pampered around the clock. When I buy a ticket to a game, I want to see guys that achieve greatness at their craft. They make millions because they do stuff nobody else can do. If you want to be the best of the best, that includes toughness and longevity. When guys claim their bodies don’t recover because of the grueling schedule, but dudes in the ‘70’s made it work without chartered jets and chefs preparing every meal, it makes you wonder.

You’re just riding the jock of guys like SGA and the like. No surprise.
