If I'm Tom Brady, I retire right now. I've made hundreds of millions of dollars, I'm married to an insanely rich super model and I'm one of the most famous athletes on Earth.
Why risk injury, quality of life when there's nothing left to prove, I'm financially secure and tarnish my image as a patriots lifer by putting on another team's uniform?

All the Alabama / Patriot football fans are in tears

I guess - really no reason for them to have zero WRs or TEs last year when they knew their QB had limited time left and they were sitting on a ton of draft assets and cap space
They drafted a WR in the first round, signed Antonio Brown, and then traded a 2nd round pick for Mohamed Sanu.

He may look better than he is at times in TB because of the WRs, but he’s pretty much done and should hang it up, but pride won’t let him.
I feel like Evans needs a QB w/ a gun. If Brady were to go to TB then Evans' best skill, the deep 50/50 ball, may be wasted. Godwin would still eat though, I think he's going to be a monster no matter who's throwing it to him.

Smart by the Pats.
Brady is 43 and wasn't very good last year. Smart to move on.

Lol you may be one of the only ones who remember his last pass compared to his Super Bowls

Coming back from 28-3 in the superbowl I was in tears. Tua throwing the game winner to Smith I was in tears.
Winning has a way of putting things in perspective.
Wishing Brady nothing but the best.

There will be a seamless transition to being Chiefs fans.

At least Brady’s last pass as a Patriot was a TD
To the other team

Bummer, but I can't get mad at Tom Brady. I wonder if he turned them down, or Belichick was ready for the soft rebuild.

Darlington on ESPN has been on top of this and he says tom wants to stay close to New York. So... The jets?
