TBs offense is stacked and has remained healthy pretty much all year. A cursory look at the top ten QBs this year, sans rookies, and yea. TB is prolly in the same spot barring Backtiari being healthy.

You could make the same argument about the chiefs, packers (tons of weapons, great OL, and top 10 defense), saints, etc.

I dont think its a big revelation to say the a Super Bowl team has to have decent talent

People who call Brady the GOAT because of his teams’ accomplishments are the low hanging fruit of sports fans.

Yeah. Take away all his team championships, what does he have? All-time passing td and yardage leader? Pssh. Three-time MVP? Yawn. Playing at an elite level at the age of 42? Pedestrian.

Objectively worse performance than several of his peers...

You’re agreeing with me. Several above average QBs could have brought the Bucs team here.

They were flush with talent but held back by a blind QB that threw the ball to the other team as much as he threw it to his team. Just negating all those TOS alone elevated them, because as said, Brady didn’t put up gaudy numbers. Just didn’t turn it over thirty+ times.

Im just saying you are making an argument that can be applied to anything. I could say its not impressive that Mahomes is here because his team is good

And I mean Brady finished 3rd in yards and tied for 2nd in TDs this year so I think his numbers were fine lol

Interchanging all the top QBs is going to do that. Mahomes just lets you do more in an offense than 95% of the other QBs in the league though.

This game didn't change what was already a thing. Not sure why people are mentioning this as if Brady has just ascended to the top all of a sudden.

He's been the GOAT for almost a decade.

Only Brady can make Patrick Mahomes have the worst game of his career.

Brady doesn't play defense, and it's the defense that had Mahomes off his game all night long.

You can't even compare him to other NFL players at this point. He's in the Gretzky and phelps conversation of guys who completely dominated their sport for so long

Brady has literally 2 HOF careers in two different decades. Think about that.

I mean he also has (or will have) basically all of the individual stats to himself as well.

Does he have 7 first team All-Pros and 5 MVPs to his name?
