5 MVPs > 5 rings
Brady played on the best football team
Peyton was the best football player

ntangibles are a huge factor in talking about the most important position in the game. You can throw the stats out... instincts are just as important.
Intangibles are basically made up by fans and media because we like a good narrative, we want "heros" and "goats(the bad kind)" we want to believe winning championships is special and requires "intangibles" but it's mostly made up nonsense, unless you believe that Brady's "will to Win" is why Pete Carroll opt not to run Lynch from the one or why Quinn and Shananan were throwing when 3 runs sets up an easy FG to put the game out of reach. Maybe Scott Norwood missed the FG vs the Giants because Jim Kelly didn't have those intangibles or didn't have the "will to win"

That's your opinion.
In other words, I can't counter your argument so I'll stick with my cherished belief
Brady has had some avg WR over the years but he also had Randy Moss a lock HOFer and Gronk, certainly on a HOF track. I can't think of 1 HOF either Brees or Rodgers has had. All 3 had decent to meh running games.

Seems like only yesterday you would see Steelers jerseys at the Bama games.
Now I'm assuming they're all Pats fans?
Times are changing.

So, you're basing your opinion on the opinion of a bunch of sports writers?

Statistically, they're very close. And while you could make a case that Brady benefited from playing on a better team, you could also make a case that Manning's numbers benefited from playing nearly half his games indoors.

Manning also had a better set of receivers in Denver than Brady ever did.

2007 Pats had Moss and Welker as leading receivers
They were 1st and 2nd team all pro that year respectively
2013 Denver Broncos leading receiver were Demarious Thomas and Eric Decker
Neither were all pro

This Brady had no receivers myth is getting ridiculous

This is what makes no sense about the "no named" receivers debate
Fans will say they are no named because they were drafted late
Well, Brady was drafted late as well.....
So is he a no named Qb made by his receivers?

And because they are White
Seriously
This goes back to early in his career when he wasn't putting up stats and the debate was Brady v Manning. Peyton was blowing him away statistically. The Manning bashers/Brady sycophants fell back on RINGS and oh Brady's WR suck. To be fair Harrison and Wayne were better than the Troy Brown, Deion Branch, David Givens of the world. If you look at Brady's career he didn't really start putting up big stats until 2007 and since then he's overall had receivers that are at least as good and in some cases better than Rodgers and Brees and even what Manning had in Denver.
