Actually if you scream for the rankings then it wouldn't work out.

But you are gettiting to wrapped up in past not present. They rank them weekly

week 1 is no less important than any other regular season week.

TCU dropped farther for losing big to 8-0 Oklahoma State than Michigan State did for losing close to 3-6 Nebraska.

We shouldn't make excuses for them because they had to play a game early in the morning.

Stanford two spots ahead of LSU is ridiculous.

Paul: Joey, could Iowa beat one of the teams in the top 4?
Joey: Absolutely! (What he's thinking: Of course, they'd beat Alabama)

We both know that an early lose is way better than losing a game in the month of November. It's always been that way in CFB.

Long: MSU should of won that game they got robbed.

**2 minutes later**

Long: MSU had an impressive gritty hard fought win over Michigan.

Not supposed to matter with this committee.

I still can't figure out why people aren't understanding what the committee is doing.

They are simply setting up elimination games and they're doing good job.

People screamed for a playoff they get it now they bitch about rankings like the old days.

I kind of agree. I just think they shouldn't even bother with rankings until it's over. Doing this during the season doesn't add much credibility IMO, though people will argue otherwise. This crap is good for TV drama and message board discussion, though. Gonna be fascinating to see what they do if LSU wins out convincingly and Bama doesn't lose.

But it does. They aren't going to openly admit it. But it clearly facts in.

Exactly, we're pointing out how absurd that is.

Gonna laugh my arse off when Oklahoma State loses at Iowa State and it benefits LSU this time.
