wasn't a great game to judge Rummel on, but you're entitled to your opinion of course

Curtis was their everything. Rummel beat them twice for district and then the semifinals. They thought they had it made.

Looked like a great defense, but not much of anything on offense. Special teams were great and you could tell Rummel had a lot of team speed.

i definitely think they took CHS for granted a bit. They didn't seem to have that edge. I think CEH kinda broke their spirit on that run.

yea didnt look very good tonight. Offensive line got beat often and Fourcade held the ball too long on some plays. Henlsey dropped 5 passes.

But everyone in the Dome knew they were going to march down and at least get he game winning FG attempt before that bad snap.

both RBs will play D-1, and they have 2, maybe 3 WRs that will eventually sign scholarships. Top to bottom one of the more talented Rummel teams ever at the skill positions. Not much top end talent but it's spread pretty even

Didn't we own Jesuit in their top sport the past 2 years, swimming? Grats boys on the football crown, wasn't it rummel who took us down in the days of warrick Dunn?

Last time we went to the dome was Warrick's sophomore year and it was Ruston that took us down. Supposedly that team was insane

Coach Boo

Dude will outlive all of us

For real though, he is one of the greatest guys you'll ever meet. They had to go behind his back to get him into the CHS hall of fame

Jesuit won the football title last year. And yeah, after winning state in swimming 32 times, it was time we allowed someone else have a couple. I believe CHS also managed to win a wrestling title a few years ago after Jesuit won it 23 times...they also won a couple baseball titles but still have a bit of catching up to do with Jesuit's 20.
Also, congrats to Carholic's whopping 8 National Merit scholars lolz

Catholic has now won a football and baseball state championship more recently than Jesuit

I think we had somewhere close to 16 semi finalists when I graduated in a class of 200.

that all being said, Rummel lost because of sloppy play on offense, not D. The Defense did enough got enough stops.

If memory serves me correctly, Catholic had around 230-250 yards of offense in the first half. Rummel has a great D no doubt, but Fertita the OC called a great game.

Fertita is probably the new HC after Weiner retires
