I told Dale I blamed the series on this thread, and he took responsibility for it. I did, however, tell him that despite that, I applaud his balls.

I'll eat crow. However, if you have been around long enough, you'll know I'm pretty much a Nega-Brave and figured they'd lose this series, but Mets fans need trashing so I had to do it.

well we all know you are big fan of his balls
it is 3 games in july, nice to get 2/3 but it doesnt mean much. way more interested in the 3 games in August, that will be a better indicator with hopefully both teams getting healthy and rounding into form for the Division run

Fangraphs was also severely under the Braves actual win total the last 3 years, so pardon me if I don't put any stock into your precious computer prognostication.
I use my eyes. My eyes tell me that the Braves are the better team, and that it will play out that way in the end. 1 series in July when there are still 12 games H2H ain't gonna determine shite. GTFOH w/that garbage.

I refuse to respect any Mets fan in the Southeast unless you have an NY accent (in which case I respect you but dislike you for being a transplant)
But I also have no issue tipping the hat to the Mets for the series, nothing flukey about it, just a solid ball club right now

I'll disagree a little; the Braves ace and Morton and Strider not pitching up to their capability was a little flukey. All 3 not having their best games/stuff in the same series? That's not gonna happen again.
But they deserve props for winning the series.
