Anyone else think the refs blew the whistle too quickly on that Mariota sack where he fumbled in 2Q? Refs ruled forward progress, so couldnt be reviewed. Next play was a field goal which ended up being the difference in the game.

They did that a couple times in the game. Never seen so many forward progress calls on sacks like that.

What does it matter. Titans won, game over. They will lose next week anyways

No, I didn't have a problem with the call, Mariota was clearly in the 'defender's grasp'

I thought it was a fumble on the sack by Johnson.

I thought it was one of the worst calls I've ever seen. Great hit by DJ. Clearly a fumble.

How many games have you watched this year where the damn refs won't blow a play dead while a ball carrier is in a huge scrum? And they rule MM down in a split second on this play? Crazy

But, I also got sick of seeing Marcus Peters pickk up every ball and run it back like it's a TD. I saw him several times pick up the ball after he could clearly see the ball carrier was down.

Well, then what about Kelsey’s fumble?

I think it's hilar the Chiefs are the new Falcons in the playoffs.

Wow. Just watched. That's about as clear a fumble as you'll ever see. Just, wow.

Triplette retired today solely because of this call. Absolutely awful.

We still shouldn't have choked that shite away though.

Nobody mentions the fumble on Kelce when he got knocked out. That happened on the next drive so it balanced out in my book.

Good point. BUT does Kelce end up in that situation if the first play is called correctly?

There were a ton of terrible calls in that game. It pretty much evened itself out.

- That call
- Penalty on a Titan that didn't exist
- Costing the Titans a challenge by missing a spot by 3+ yards
- The Kelce fumble
- Although he got the call correct, justifying the Mariota play by saying he was in the shotgun
- Invisible penalty to get rid of a roughing the punter penalty
- The phantom Henry fumble

I can go on.

Why do people keep bringing this up? Kelce got the ball back before the defender took it from him. Did y’all even watch the game?

No shite.

Since when does a QB have forward progress while sitting his arse in the pocket looking to pass?

Forward progress used to be a RB gets held up by defenders and they drag him back 5 yards and then strip the ball...meaning....

It had to be fricking obvious.

This is Tuck call absurd.

That's a damn sack and fumble if there ever was one.

But since the NFL can't decide what a catch is anymore...

Why not make fumbles as arbitrary too?
