Everybody and their mother in my area of Texas became rangers fans during their short stint of relevance some years back. Newsflash: people will pay attention to good teams more than bad teams.

It isn’t like the Cubs or Bosox who have fans no matter what.

Given the Cubs started in the 1800s and the Red Sox started in 1901, while the Astros have only existed since 1962, I'd say that's probably correct.

The Astros fan base grew on this site mainly due to Bregman.

I don't think the Braves pitcher was tipping like the Astros picked up on. The Cardinals came out with the mindset we're not swinging at the slider again and he's going to have to use a different pitch as his out pitch. That rattled him and off the Cardinals went

Folty is just a head case. Things going good, he's fine. First bit of adversity and shite goes haywire.

Perfectly legal and not Bush league in the least.

It's not only legal and not bush league, it's fricking baseball. That is literally what you are trying to do at the plate. The main goal is obviously to hit the ball, but you do that by using everything you see. Including the way a guy's hand sits in his mitt when he's gripping a fastball or change up. This is baseball 101 shite.

Jesus Christ.

The solution is simple. Don’t tip your shite

This applies to most of the "unwritten rule" bullshite in baseball.

Worried a team is stealing your signs? Then change your fricking signs.

Don't want a guy to bat flip on a homer? Then don't throw him a ball over the middle of the plate.

Folty hasn't pitched in MLB for a whole season yet. He has a lot of time to improve, I think.

Astros had 10% of the activity here in 2014 when I joined.

The bandwagon is why I dislike them. A majority of the ‘fans’ now have no clue about the team’s history or what happened in the early part of this decade.

Tell us another story about the good old days Grandpa.

No. Folty lost his composure when Freeman booted a very easy double play ball that would have ended the first inning at 1-0.

It was discussed a little on the radio today.

Nothing definitive though, as in a player said it off the record.

Thoughts?

Having been a Braves fan for 40 years, you could see this latest postseason choke job coming from MILES away.

STL didn't need to tip anything.....it was already determined when the Braves choked game 4.
