Absolutely devastating. I hope they have a strong support system. I would guess (hope) that the Red Sox will help them for awhile if they need it.

Umm, here’s a thought. they had that money anyway. I’m sure they would rather have their parents alive.

My dad had one November of 2020 for a 6.5 cm tumor and he went onto the table at 289. He came out after recovery at 170. He’s still cancer free so far but he will never eat the same again and I think that’s sapped him of happiness. Also maybe because my mom is a lunatic.

. Sadly his wife was probably helping him cope with his disease while not realizing she had a ticking time bomb in her pancreas.

I want to say that when Tim passed it was known she had been sick. I may be wrong. I certainly have no recollection of what it was or that she was terminal at that time.

Just a terrible situation all around

Some poster on PT posted some stats on cancer awhile back and since the COVID19 shite show cancer has been on the rise.

Because people canceled regular screenings, which is BY FAR, the most common way cancers are caught. So cancer is being caught post-COVID that would've been caught in 2020 and 2021,a nd unfortunately, often times it is too late. I work in healthcare, fwiw. If you want to blame it on COVID lockdowns, that's fair, it's not from any vaccine.

And get this PT shite off of the MSB.
