While I agree with much of what Brando says in that clip, I do think Timmy B is a classic case most times of "he don't know that he don't know". And he sure likes him some him, that has never been in question. And the most prodigious name dropper of anyone in the business outside Pat O'Brien.

I do think in the clips he went in a bit to heavy on the media without addressing what has become the bigger issue...social media. The media basically did the same thing with Brees about 3 years back - posted his take on standing for the anthem and it was a one day topic on the talk shows and never went any further than that.

The difference here was social media - including his own teammates just went off on him. The timing was not good on Drew's part for sure but nothing he said IMHO warranted the firestorm he received. Social media took something the media had done before with Brees and took it to a distasteful extreme. Not sure Timmy B addressed that in his analysis.
