They even made a musical about him

Isn’t that the former Texas Ranger power hitter who was addicted to meth?

So the "new" Jackie Robinson is mixing it up. The "old" one would have walked away.

Cliffnotes on why Anderson is a piece of shite? What has he done to disrespect the game?

That is a dude I wouldn't want to piss off. He's a big guy along w/having that Dominican temper....
One of the true good guys in the game and criminally underrated.

Anderson is such a POS.
We had a guy in the ATL Thread about a month or so ago who wanted the Braves to trade for him.
He was promptly put in his place. And incidents like this one are the reason why the Braves wouldn't touch him w/a 10 ft.polw.

He has a history of being a clubhouse cancer.

I loathe Tim Anderson. If you are the kinda guy that can get under Salvador Perez's skin, then you're a real piece of shyt.
Any guy that can get under Jose Ramirez's(one of the true good guys in the game) skin is a POS.

Exactly. Imagine if he has his feet under him and turned over his hips then connected. Anderson would have gotten knocked the frick out.

That was actually hilarious and great theater. The umpires even backed away like hockey referees and let them throw down for a few seconds lol.
Baseball needs more of this.

The white sox player holding Ramirez back let him get one good punch before really subduing him. I believe it was on purpose.

I highly recommend watching that sequence from :13-:15 seconds in 0.25x slow motion.
Anderson just misses with two vicious overhead rights that might have taken off Ramirez's head.
After each punch, Ramirez looks like he has no balance and wildly swings with a right hook, but the second one lands right on Anderson's cheekbone.

Nobody deserves to be knocked on their arse more than him in MLB.

Wonder what it was that Ramirez took umbrage with.
Anderson was standing over/straddling him.
That’s disrespect

There was also a bush league play the night before where he pushed a sliding runner's arm off the base to induce an out call.

Never would of happen if Kopech wasn't a bum at pitching

I am also not a fan or Tim Anderson

The ump basically tried to break it up and then when he saw them square up he just backed off. So fricking funny. But apparently that is basically what they are told to do and it’s on the players and coaches to break it up, which makes sense

Neither of them looked like they knew how to fight. Ramirez was winging punches with his head down and got lucky landing one blind.
