Based on the photo it looks like his car definitely collided with something on the front end. But it was a one car accident and google maps didn't indicate any dangerous terrain.
Based on the front end damage and the broken legs, I'm guessing he went off the road at a decent speed and hit a tree causing the vehicle to tumble and roll.
Possible culprits: (1) fell asleep at wheel (2) distracted by cell phone or (3) he mixed up his "my back hurts" pills and his "I feel sad" pills... again.
Someone probably caught on their home security or RING camera and will get paid by TMZ.

Sounds like he’ll live but is currently in surgery for devastating leg injuries. His career is almost certainly over, at least in terms of being competitive.

Just looking at the 2 pictures provided in this link, it doesn't appear the jaws of life were used. Unless he is still in the vehicle at the time they were snapped...the pictures that is.

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet but he was driving a brand new Genesis GV80 SUV. These things are a brand new vehicle for Genesis and just went on sale in the US back just a few weeks ago. Not a good look for Genesis if it was the car and not impairment. On the flip side that was quite the crash and the vehicle kept him alive.
Really hope he isn't back on the pills again and hope he has a full recovery and can walk and play golf again.

Well, I'm pretty sure the car didn't drive itself directly into a stationary object. Looking at the picture of the wreck, the car wasn't going slow.
