I agree. Don't think you'll see a trade for smith today. Sounds like rip Hamilton is most likely.

I wouldn't think it would take much to get Rip from the Bulls.


They're apparently desperate to lower their tax number and his guarantee for next year is only $1m unless someone picks up his option.

Thanks to the new CBA, someone could spread the hit out to $333K / year over 3 years if they release him under one specific provision.

This could be good for the Kings in that Patterson was a junior at UK when Cousins was a freshman. He was the calming presence on that team, and they may be taking a chance that having someone around that Cousins likes and trust could produce the same effect.

no, hes just not a max deal type player to me. someone will give it to him, but i dont want my team to do it. and the thought of giving up pieces to do it doesnt make much sense to me

Kings selling out basically the new owners will have an expansion team. Wish the Pelicans would have basically given up a salary guy and a second round pick for Robinson.
