I remember knowing exactly who I was controlling in those games
I do too.
I was controlling QB #12 and his heavily pixelated face at Alabama in NCAA Football 2006. Those were good times. I used to imagine that it was Brodie Croyle even though it wasn't. It was QB #12.

the #4 Qb, from South Florida is ALL in, whoever gets him.
He can throw and run, but coughs the ball up a lot, especially considering the competition he went against in conference.
he can throw for 260 2 td run for 100 1 td, but still have 2 fumbles and an int.
I'd take him just for the roller coaster ride.

Not gonna happen. You get on your high horse and lowball somebody, then your rival comes and takes him, and then beats you on the field...heads would roll.
It’s ultimately a Mexican standoff. The fans and PTB could end it all today, but no one is going to lower their gun and trust that others will do the same. They all think if they lower their gun they will get their head blown off, and they are right. Therefore, all this stuff will continue.
No one is willing to lose for the sake of principle.

Lmao I remember being lectured that only the absolute surefire proven stars would be getting 6 figures
And that donors wouldn't want to take risks giving money to unproven freshmen out of high school
remember when NIL was supposed to be about only paying for someone's "name, image, and likeness" and not just an offer to come play ball?
LOLLLLLLL

I wouldn’t be surprised if him and Lagway have a lot of success at their next stop. Also wouldn’t be shocked if they completely flop. Depends on the situation they sign up for.
