I mean, we’re excited, but ya it’s also a middle finger to the nfl. The entire lower bowl is expected to be full/ sold out.

So I like the sideline interviews during the game. The on field play sucks though. Junior college level shite.

I like the gameplay.
The field interviews with players during the game are going to leave a massive window open for swearing.
I do not like the playcalls on air. MLB is going through a little thing about teams figuring out what the other is doing - seems pretty easy for someone to buzz down a run/pass signal once they figure out the play calls.

How can it be JUCO level when the players on the field are former P5 players with many having some NFL experience? Plus the coaches have some pretty good pedigree. Freaking Bob Stoops wouldn't leave the Renegades for FSU.

Level of play is higher than CFB and given a season to gel I'm thinking the XFL champ would beat the CFP champion.

FIFY

the AAF was an abortion created by the NFL designed to be a failure so people stop looking for a replacement for the NFL games

The names of these teams are atrocious and laughable.

Was just a shitty version of the NFL.

The XFL has things that make it unique.

If today they came out with the Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Lions, Bears, Jets, etc. Hell, if you think about it all of the NFL nicknames other than a few are generic and crappy.

I'm just irritated that the Roughnecks aren't playing in powder blues. Big time missed opportunity.

PLAY NECK FOR THE ROUGHNECKS.

The oil derrick was pushing it. Powder blues would be gimmick infringement and I guarantee the NFL lawyers would come calling.

I’ll tell ya what, that was some damn solid football I watched today. Seems like McMahon learned from his mistakes the first go-round and is seriously focused on doing things right this time.

Eh, this years CFP champ game featured twoQBs that will be better than anyone in the XFL. QB play goes a long way

We don't know that yet. They may have great careers, don't know. Johnny Football was destined to be great. Jarvis Landry had a good college career and is now QB for the Renegades.
