Will make it. I believe the fan base will grow. DO NOT expect the NFL if you watch and you will enjoy it. The NFL should enjoy a mock development league. I like the hitting

It not being the NFL is the reason I'm watching it.

I have been pleasantly surprised by the first 2 games.

We were all hyped about the AFL or AAF or whatever it was called.

The lack of flags has made this very enjoyable.

I didn't watch a single one of those games cause I was always waiting on the XFL to start up.

A “lower” level league is a great idea. We can always use more football

Not really. Their games were boring even on day 1. The parts of the two XFL games I’ve watched have been anything but.

Same here..it was always XFL for me. You could tell they were setting it up the right way.

The quality and level of play so far has been incredible! If they can keep it up past the opening hype I could see it making it. Using established networks like ESPN and Fox instead of some games being only on BR live will help as well. They just did a booth review with a change of spot and clock change in about 30 seconds..... that would’ve taken 5 min in a NFL game...

NFL would be smart to let their practice squad players be signed by XFL.

It's real game reps, allows guys to make a living, while being developed.

NFL is already paying them for practice squad, so no worries. XFL allows them playing time and extra cash to be able to continue playing.

I was just thinking that allowing bench NFL QBs would be great for both leagues.

I went out of my way not to watch that league. Glad it folded.

You have no idea how many football fans there are looking for an alternative to the NFL.

2 more games on tomorrow...Tampa Bay Vipers vs the New York Gurardians on Fox and St Louis Battlehawks vs Dallas Renegades on ESPN. The games today were fun to watch so hopefully the league works.

Is STL hyped for the BattleHawks? If for no other reason than to stick it to the NFL?

I mean they have a cool name and logo. I'd cheer for them if I wasn't a lifelong Dallas Renegades fan.
