One player should not have to carry the burden of an entire franchise. Drew Brees is the glue that holds this team together. Without him taking snaps from under center, this team is straight arse.

If you hadn’t notice QB is the most important position in football. Especially in today’s league.

Some QBs are just irreplaceable, unlike Tom Brady

We supposed to have a backup franchise QB?

Defense played pretty godamn well for a large chunk of game with the offense doing nothing.

I mean, any team is going to do worse when they lose their franchise QB. The NFL basically requires great QB play to be consistently good.

Which is why it is important to invest in a good backup. So far, teddy doesn't seem to be a good investment. It'll be interesting to see how he does with a full week of starter prep next week

Please tell us the teams that invested in a good backup.

This should be wildly entertaining.
