This delayed handoff out of the shotgun on short yardage is an epidemic in CFB

You don’t need to read someone on every play, just get the ball in the RBs hands quickly in short yardage situations

Tom Brady’s slow, weak arse made a first down on a qb sneak 99% of the time. Meanwhile, coaches still run plays from a shotgun from the 1 foot line.

Under center for some of these qbs is like writing in cursive.
How pissed would you be to have a fumbled snap late in a big game at the goal line because it’s the first time all game he’s been under center

A lot of Center's are the smallest guy on the line, and all they know is the pistol. QB's aren't much better under the Center. You can thank Art Briles.
