Ok they were not impressive... OK....

1973 Michigan gave up 57 points all year... They sucked cause it was in the big two little 8 of the big ten......

Nick Saban has never lost by more than two touchdowns at Alabama in over a decade. His best team ever isn’t losing to anyone by 25 and if there were a hypothetical line on the game Alabama would be favored. Tua is a different cat. We all know it. Some of us are refusing to accept it.

Tell me who had a harder schedule.. 1983 Neb or 1995 NEB AND use your favorite stat...Margin of victory... Then look at 1971 Michigan.... Or 1973 Michigan........

Who cares what the schedule is when the team's inherently great and talented, coached by an all-time coach, and taking care of business to the tune of 50-17 on a consistent basis? Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that team's great at playing football.

I clearly disagree with this.

But serious question..

How many points would 2001 Miami have to score to beat this team by 25?

But the 1991 Redskins.........

The 83 Nebraska team was great but they really didn’t play anyone until Miami, who they probably beat if they played anywhere but the Orange Bowl

The 95 team was better not just because they won the last game but body of work, the beat 4 teams that FINISHED in the top 10 by an Avg of 24 points. Florida was clearly the 2nd best team and they simply annahilated them.

The hyperbole in these types of treads is always astonishing. Like in the could Bama beat the worst NFL team some morons always say the NFL team would win by 100 or 75, it’s stupid

The posters saying it’s too early to tell are 100% right. 5 games in Alabama hasn’t played anyone, though I do think Saban is clearly playing history.

That said I would take 2001 Miami, 04 USC and 05 Texas over any of Saban’s Alabama teams, though anyone that thinks it would be a blowout (either way frankly) is mistaken.

NFL team would win like Alabama playing a Sun Belt school. If you don't think so, maybe you need to rethink who you call stupid.

1. You're right.
2. About everything other than the worst team in the NFL beating Alabama by 100.

Idk if this Alabama team is GOAT or even the best team in CFB this season. I also see plenty people around here who aren't sure Tua is legit. It's ok to make predictions or have opinions before the dust settles.

Our starters haven't even played a full game yet. Again, pump the brakes.

I still think PSU '94 is the best offense. Take your pick of Bama or Miami teams on defense, I guess.

Bunk that Penn St team was great but 86 Miami was just as good.

The best team I have ever seen was either the Miami 86 team or Miami 00/01 team. That 86 Miami team was incredible but Vinny just picked the wrong night to screw up.

The most overlooked great team is Washington 90.

86 Miami/PSU game is one of the first big games I remember. Felt like JoePa (was Dusky responsible for that?) just threw a bunch of junk against Vinny and it worked.

Oh, I know all too well about that Washington team, both based on what they did to a very good Michigan team and just being a big fan of them in general due to relatives who went to U-Dub.

A) when is the last time Alabama beat a Sun Belt team by 100?
B) A Sun Belt team beat LSU last season, while the transitive property is grossly over used Alabama only beat LSU by 14
C) you don’t understand marginal differences. The pro team would win, and win handily but Alabama could still make a few plays here and there. At worst probably like what Bama did to Ole Miss, at best 40s to 3-7 or so.

Then I’m right about everything

1 thing that never gets mentioned in these debates is are we playing pro rules or college, cause if it’s pro rules there really isn’t enough time to score 100.
