I think we'll see it again, but it's going to be a long time before another pitcher wins 300 games.
I don't know, the 5 man and sometimes 6 man coupled with pitchers sitting out for soreness just to be safe may have killed any chances at 300 wins.

People like to bash you on here for criticizing the officiating in that series, but I've cruised lots of NBA message boards this season and noticed tons of fans doing it. I've seen Lakers, Magic, Cavs, Thunder, Blazers etc. fans all call bullshite on that finals. I agree also. It was bull. shite.

My dad is a UGA alum, my grandfather taught there for 30 years and still lives there. Both of them will gladly admit that Bo Jackson was the best RB they have ever seen in college.

Good for them. DID YOU SEE WALKER PLAY??? I didn't think so. BO JaCKSON is IMO the greatest ATHLETE EVER. BUT as far as the College game WALKER>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>BO.

I will take the word from the guy who saw him in every game he ever played for UGA.

OK!!! He was AWESOME. I don't think BO could have done in the UGA offense what Walker did. He carried the ball 35-38 times a game and they knew what was coming and could not stop it. FOR THREEE YEARS. HE didn't have the option package that AU ran when BO was there.

O no, it was one of the most lopsided officiated finals ever, no doubt. And im not even a Mavs fan.
Have you ever read Bill Simmons rant about it. He drops some pretty good stats down. A lot of people feel that one ref in particulr (forget his name) has always had it out for the Mavs.

The first 4 minute mile.

A swing as sweet as Ken Griffey Jr's.

I am a big Mav's fan and I think some of it might have been because of Mark Cuban.

nobody probably wants to hear anymore about this guy but brett favre's consecutive game streak is near impossible to top

73 homers in one MLB season

88 game winning streak in College Bball
44.2 avg for a college Bball season
Over 4,000 hits in the MLB
A 30 game winner In the MLB
A 50.4 avg for an NBA player for a season
I think this is definitely possible with the new mandatory college season for NBA prospects.
I think Lebron would have completely dominated college and came close. The only reason he wouldn't reach it IMO is if the coach rested him after half time because they were so dominant.
