i would be suprised if the entire atheltic dept gets shutdown. how many of their sponsors have withdrawn? i am sure they are all scrambling to get away from Pedo State at this point

Civil suits may top $100 million.

That's an estimate based on what we know today. What if hundreds start to come forward?
(Maybe they can't afford Saban or Meyer, after all....)

no way it was a suicide. someone went to way too much trouble to open the laptop and pull out and mangle the hard drive.
if you're about to kill yourself theres no possible way you'd be doing shite like that.
You would if you didn't want your family to know about your pedo porn.

wow. Limitations may be an issue. I know the Dallas Diocese asserted this defense in the Dallas Priest rape cases. The criminal liability has not run yet but civil wise they may be able to assert that chicken shite defense.

My boss is a PSU alum. Her family are big donors and friends with Sandusky, Turley, etc. They have given tickets to Sandusky so he could take kids to games.
Needless to say, she is freaked the hell out. Missed work this week. I really hope her dad is in not involved in any of this.

Damn...just Damn...that's wild, her dad's prolly cool tho. Apparently most of these sick freaks put up a pretty good facade & most that know them are shocked & devastated when they find out..

Has anyone described the pedo-lair he had at his house?
Is this true? And if so what has been said about it?

I hope her Dad is not implicated. Apparently the family is super freaked out by the fact that they gave money to the nonprofit, and gave tickets to him for kids. They feel like they enabled him.
I told her that would only be true if they knew about it, and they didn't. Others did...

Not their fault. I'm sure tens of thousands of innocent people donated to him not knowing what it was going to. They'll be fine if they indeed didn't know.

Yup...Just donating to JS's charity...

Although, the cult of Penn state is pretty deep. Even after documented evidence that their women's basketball coach went to great lengths to keep lesbians off her team, my boss denied that is what happened. "We know her, and she's a good person. She was just misunderstood"
Even though those are completely different situations, and not as serious as what Sandusky did, it goes to the "But we know him, he's a good person" mentality that allows people like Sandusky to do what he did.

So has any of this been reported officially? The part about selling these young boys to boosters.

Statute of limitations probably hasn't run on most of the victims for a civil suit. Interesting article regarding victims' ability to sue the school:

Madden also reported it earlier this year.
Sandusky was as evil as they get if true. Pimping out kids for money. I guess he also says the rumor was that he resigned so the allegations would go away on Penn St's behalf. That university is screwed. I heard a local radio host here say that the civil suit could hit a billion.

Just hopping in late to respond to earlier talk about race
For the record, as a 6'3 215 bundle of half and half (I'm mixed), I have never in my life met a more racist cuture than northeastern liberals...and the media (one in the same for the most part). I'm very serious...the south has its fair share of nuts...but to the liberal culture in the northeast, the only thing that would be better than us sayin 'yes massa, no massa' would be for us to be so far out of sight that they don't even know we exist. This is speaking from personal experience for years...
