I’ll admit I used to like all sports better back when I was drinking.

#12 BYU vs #22 GaTech

Like this Sprinkles in the End Zones

OP
There is still some "Nostalgia" with all these Bowl games; Special Time of the Year + over 2 Weeks OFF work

My dad watches almost all of the bowl games. He gets into any game he watches.

This board

Are we really going to just pretend the bowls and bowl interest is the same as 10 years ago?

Penn state and Clemson play today as well as two ranked teams in Tech and BYU

You telling me those games will have same viewership, attendance, and discussion on this board as they would have had in 2010?

I have no idea what point you attempted to make. Your lack of clarity aside, and if you value accurate data, we probably agree that viewership for individual college football games is down significantly from 2010.

Younger viewers often just keep up with outcomes through highlight/recap shows.

But big games in 2025 can and do draw as many or more viewers than comparable big matchups from 2010.

Due to gambling only. I have friends that don't care about football but will watch random no name bowl games just because they placed a bet on it.

Oh no that’s horrible!! OP says your dad does that just because he wants to be referred to as a “football guy”
