Honestly it’s kind of fascinating. I’ve never seen a league openly resent its most popular player before. NBA used to slap LeBron and Steph on damn near everything, Kobe/Shaq/Jordan before that. The WNBA pretends Clark doesn’t exist because it makes their giant black lesbians mad.

Many more of them dislike Sophie Cunningham. They also left off Diana Taurasi, Sue Bird, Maya Moore, Brittney Griner, Candace Parker, and Cynthia Cooper so it's more likely a very lazy job rather than malice.
