If you haven't watched Formula One series on Netflix move it to the top of your queue. I'll be watching the races this year. The series was very well done.

I think this is more impressive when they had to reach down to find the shifter to switch gears

Could you imagine one of those old school redneck NASCAR drivers using this?

The Senna Doc really showed how much better he was than everybody else.

Senna driving an NSX

One of my favorite clips, Senna driving my favorite car ever. Also looking like a straight up boss

That series is seriously good television. The characters are amazing. And the comments they get out of people, the honesty.

It’s going to create a lot of new Formula One fans.

Senna was arguably the best driver (at least over one lap) of his era but his racecraft was shite. He had very little mechanical sympathy and he never understood the logic of backing off, best exemplified by his crash in Monaco in '88. Prost, on the other hand, was a master at racecraft and garnered more unadjusted points in the 2 year period they were in the same car. He also wasn't very good at car development (something that Prost and Schumacher excelled at) he simply attempted to drive around a cars issues. A supreme driving talent but not nearly as well rounded as a list of other top tier drivers. I still think Fangio was the best pure driver.

The documentary on Senna is also available on Netflix, along with the documentary on Frank Williams.

Going to a Formula One race is now at the top of my bucket list. Preferably Monaco or Singapore or both. I've already told my son it's in our future to go to one together.

Its impressive. But nothing close to the amount of stuff Pilots have to watch and be aware of while flying at the speed of sound.

My wife in I were just in Long Beach, CA yesterday and they apparently have a race in a few weeks. The roads are set up for it already and we're thinking about driving up to watch it.

BTW, that is one bad arse looking steering wheel

This guy gets it.

Senna was the fastest of his time, but Prost was the best.
