to be fairish, that ball spot was exactly where he caught it in mitt, not where it traveled across plate imo. still a ball though.

Should have challenged. Ole girl’s authenticated ball on her mantle would always remind her that she blew her first call badly.

But hey, let’s all celebrate having a woman back there.

Ahhh, makes sense. I thought that she had been around for a bit now. I think I saw a video of her behind the plate earlier this year, and she had four or so ball/strike calls challenged in one inning. She missed them all.

They are correct, keep that BALL, bc it wasn't a strike.

She has a 91.8% accuracy rating

League average is 93.6% I believe

So over the course of a game she will get 5 more calls wrong than the average umpire
