I was hoping Tsonga would win to give Fed a better chance, but now I see that Tsonga has won 2 in a row vs Fed, while Fed has won 5 in a row vs Murray.

Tsonga is playing absolutely beautiful tennis right now. He is one of the guys I generally root for.

I love watching a great serve and volley player. That was part of what made Sampras so fun to watch. His opponent would blast a return back and Sampras would make a shoe string volley, which would be difficult for even good net players, and not only get the volley back into play, but place it deep in the corner of the court.

i love tsonga. definitely cheering for him.

would have loved to see none of the big 4 in the semis. i don't really have anything against them, but i like fresh blood every once in a while.

Thank you for those pics GnarCat! Perfect illustration of what I was alluding to. I love Serve & Volley too. I practice it, use it when it can and it really shakes people up a the rec level - at least 4.0 and below.

Guess I'll tune in on espn3 to watch this fifth set. Destroyed my GB limit last month watching the Euro at work, good thing it just reset a couple of days ago.

Yeah, you can absolutely blow people's minds today if you serve and volley. I definitely utilized it when I played competively. I want to end the points quick, and doing so gives the opponent a feeling of helplessness when done well

What is going on here? I thought Jo was down a break early in the fourth and that it would be over in minutes.

Are we still including Rafa as big 4 at this point... I feel like he's done.

He broke right back and has since been pulling inch-perfect passing shot out of his arse.

Andy couldn't consolidate his breaks. Tsonga has been hitting some ridiculous winners from the back of the court.

I think Murray just said, "No way I'm losing this match". This level of tennis is crazy.

Tsonga gets around pretty darn well for a big guy. Andy is controlling the points, looks like just a matter of time. This is good stuff.

Man, I hate to see Tsonga go down like that. Missed a forehand volley and a moving in forehand with huge chunks of open court. Now misses a BH volley that is a put away shot. Unravelling in a hurry. Murray has done a good job of keeping pressure on him. Murray's defense is outstanding.

Lendl magic working again. There is a noticeable killer instinct to Murray again as compared to when he was teamed with Mauresmo

I'm not currently watching the match so I could be off base here, but Tsonga sounds like he needs to work on his mental toughness. No excuse to fight back down 2 sets and get bagel'd in the 5th

Edit: never mind, looks like he was able to pull out a breadstick
